Notes - Obituary:
Services for Richard Bryant, 53, of 316 Union, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, officiating.
Graveside services will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355. All Masons are requested to meet at the Lodge hall at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mr. Bryant died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital.
A native of Miami, he had been a Borger resident for 32 years. He was an executive vice president and director of Panhandle Bank & Trust Company. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Miami, and Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Rick Bryant of Dallas; daughter, Mrs. Cherri Dehart of Rochester, Mich.; four brothers, Charles Bryant and Raymond Bryant, both of Miami, Bill Bryant and Don Brant, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Benge and Joan Bryant, both of Miami; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dave Warren, Robert Wilson, David Thompson, Clyde Gassaway, Bill Kingsland, Dave Boren, Don Vinez and Leon Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers will be officers, directors and employees of Panhandle Bank & Trust Company.
