Notes - Obituary:
CALDWELL - Services for Naomi Ann Pertl Rathjen, 65, of Caldwell are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. The Rev. Don Laird will officiate. Burial will be at Schoppe Cemetery in Lyons.
Mrs. Rathjen died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Burleson County. She was a charter member of First Assembly of God Church in Caldwell. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Rathjen.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Craig Pliler of Caldwell; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Maria "Tina" Rathjen of Caldwell; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Bobbie Pertl of Pasadena, Melvin and Dorothy Pertl of Caldwell and Joel and Melinda Pertl of Deanville; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Scott Thatcher of College Station; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Joe Marek, Bonnie Campise, Doris Rathjen and Alice and Tim Klaus; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
