      Avery M. Greer Jr.
      Feb. 16, 1923 - July 16, 1992

      NAVASOTA - Funeral services for Avery M. Greer Jr., 69, of Millican will be at 10 a.m. today at Nobles Funeral Chapel.

      The Rev. Henry Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery in the Peach Creek community in Brazos County.

      Mr. Greer died Thursday afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

      He was born in Brazos County and was a truck driver.

      Survivors include his mother, Martha Mayo of Millican; a brother, William Hemenas of Kingsman, Ariz.; and many other relatives.
