  Obituary: Norman Dean Greer, 61, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at UTMB-Galveston Medical Center. Norman was born Wednesday, September 14, 1955 in Navasota to Norman Monroe and Mattie Martha Jurdan Greer. He grew up in Peach Creek and enjoyed hunting fishing and anything else outdoors. He also enjoyed motorcycles. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Monroe Greer. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Greer of Willis; daughters, Kim Allen and husband Douglas of Conroe, Lora Mathis of Weimar and Candy Miller and significant other, James Johnson of Oklahoma; brother, Donald Ray Greer and wife Shelley of College Station; grandchildren, Jordan Mathis, Izahah and Harmony Carbajac, Jamie, Megan and Cheyenne Gent, Jonathan and Jasmine Allen and Benjamin; two great grandchildren, Cody Lawrenz and Loria Waltz along with 18 nieces and nephews.
