  Obituary: Pioneer Woman Of This County Is Buried Today Mrs. Martha Katherine German, aged 72 years, 2 months and 10 days, died Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at her home near College Station. A resident of Brazos county for the past 62 years, Mrs. German was one of its early settlers. She was a native Texan, born in Burleson county Aug. 20, 1863. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: F. N. German of Wellborn; John German of Houston; Mrs. W. D. Burkhalter of College Station and Mrs. J. F. Gree of Rock Prairie. One sister also survives her, Mrs. Sallie Ross of College Station. The funeral services were held from her late home this afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. J. P. Brown of Bryan, in charge. Interment was made in the old Millican cemetery where other members of the family sleep. McCulloch-Dansby were in charge of all funeral arrangements.
