Former Resident of Millican Is Victim of Wreck
William C. German, born in Millican November 14, 1889, was brought back to Millican Tuesday afternoon for burial, after having been killed in Houston Monday in a car wreck as he went to his work.
Funeral services were held at the depot in Millican at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made at the Millican cemetery. A large number of friends of the deceased were present at the services, which were conducted by the pastor of the Wellborn Baptist church, Rev. J.P. Brown.
Assisting Rev. Brown were members of the Earl Graham Post of the American Legion. They were: Henry Schovajsa, Will Dowling, Harry Estill, Raymond Jones, Albert Goodman, Antone Krenek, and R.W. Ivy.
The deceased is survived by his mother, two brothers and two sisters.
