  Death Notice SAM GERMAN DEAD Sam German, a well known young man of the Rock Prairie community, died Sunday morning after a short illness. He was a splendid young man, active, industrious, and belonged to a well known family of the southern portion of the county. He had just recently passed his 21st birthday. The funeral was held at Millican this afternoon. (Published in The Bryan Daily Eagle on January 14, 1918)
