      Mary Ann Raymond Bush
      April 17, 1953 - July 18, 2025

Rayne, LA - Funeral services for Mary Raymond Bush, 72, who passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.

The Very Rev. Brent L. Smith of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate the Funeral Mass and conduct the services.

Mary Ann, affectionately known as "Grammy," poured her heart into raising her four children and found boundless joy in her twelve cherished grandchildren. Her greatest delight was bringing her family together, especially in New Orleans, Hawaii, or Orange Beach, where she built sandcastles with her grandchildren and created lasting memories. Mardi Gras and weekends in the French Quarter held a special place in her heart, filled with laughter, celebration, and the vibrant spirit of her beloved Louisiana. Whether volunteering at her children's schools, feeding wildlife in her backyard, or crafting cherished holiday memories-especially at Christmas-Mary's love and enthusiasm shone through. Her creativity flourished in watercolor painting, where she captured the beauty of skies from her favorite places, finding peace and joy in every brushstroke. Mary also adored animals, particularly her two beloved cats, who were her constant companions.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured memories. Her unwavering love, contagious joy, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
