  Obituary: Julie Privat Ousse September 15, 1928 - January 23, 2011 Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. for Julie Privat Ousse, 82 who died Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #1 , Rayne, LA. Surviving are one son, Edwin "Butch" Landry Ousse, Jr. and wife Janice of Lafayette, one daughter, Julie Anna Ousse Manale and husband Fred of Lafayette, one grandson, Nicholas Ousse of Lafayette, two step grandchildren, Thomas McNeely of Lafayette, Brooke McNeely of Lafayette, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edwin "Teedie" Landry Ousse, Sr., parents, Joseph Privat and Julie McBride Privat, one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Rita Trahan Privat, sister-in-law, Beverly Ousse Darby, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wallace and Eleanor Ousse, Sr.. She was born Saturday, September 15, 1928 in Rayne, LA, daughter of the late Joseph Privat and the late Julie McBride Privat. She was a member of Acadia Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution, American Legion Auxillary for 62 years, Catholic Daughters of America and Rayne Garden Club for 45 years. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until service. A special Thanks to Dr. Richard Fei and St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette, LA.
