  Obituary: Edwin "Teedie" Landry Ousse, Sr. August 7, 1922 - October 21, 2010 Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. for Edwin "Teedie" Landry Ousse, Sr., 88 who died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Lafayette General Medical Center Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #1 , Rayne, LA. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Julie Privat Ousse formaly of Rayne now leaving in Lafayette, one son, Edwin "Butch" Landry Ousse, Jr. and wife Janice of Lafayette, one daughter, Julie Anna Ousse Manale and husband Fred of Lafayette, one grandchild, Nicholas Ousse of Lafayette, two step grandchildren, Thomas McNeely of Lafayette, Brooke McNeely of Lafayette, one brother-in-law, Joe Darby of Arnaudville, All the family and friends at Maison de Lafayette. He was preceded in death by parents, Wallace Ousse and Edna Deshotels; two brothers, Jonny Ousse and Wallace Ousse, Sr. and wife Eleanor Zaunbrecher Ousse, one sister, Beverly Ousse Darby, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Rita T. Privat. He was born Monday, August 7, 1922 in Rayne, LA, Son of the late Wallace Ousse and the late Edna Deshotels Ousse.Mr. Ousse is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. He served in the Army during WWII and the Korea War. A rosary will be recited Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
