  Obituary: Raymond Eugene "Gene" Farley, Jr., 66, of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at his home. He was born October 10, 1954 in Jena, to the union of his parents, Rita Imelda Lees Farley and Raymond Eugene Farley, Sr. Gene was employed as a drilling superintendent in the oil industry until his health forced him to retire. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, in the Jena Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Justin Eugene Farley. Survivors include his wife, Clovice Hardwell Farley; one sister, Nona Davidson and husband Charles; and one brother, Brent Farley and wife Reacey, all of Jena.
