FINAL RITES FOR MRS. E. Q. SMITH TODAY IN BOWIE
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Friday) from the First Baptist Church in Bowie for Mrs. Ima McIntyre Smith, 59, who died Wednesday night at her home in the Salona community.
Rev. E. F. McCurley, pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, will officiate. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, E. Q. Smith; three step-children; Mrs. Nora Mae Eberley of Houston and M. J. Smith of Lamesa and V. L. Smith of Olton; four brothers: Earl McIntyre of Denison, J. B. McIntyre of Bowie, Robert McIntyre of Dallas and Jessie McIntyre of Los Angeles; five sisters: Mrs. Myrtle Leonard of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Vera Rogers of San Angelo, Mrs. Virgil Blaskowsky of Raymonsville, Mrs. E. M. Hern of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Bessie Howell of Big Spring; 13 step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ima Smith Of Salona Dies
BOWIE, Texas, July 10 (Special) - Mrs. Ima Smith, 59, former resident of Wichita Falls, died at her home in the Salona Community, 10 miles east of here late Wednesday after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday from the First Baptist Church with Rev. E. S McCurley, pastor of the Wichita Falls Victory Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Lamar County. She moved to Salona Community from Wichita Falls where she lived for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband. E. Q. Smith of Salona Community: three step-children whom she reared; V. L. Smith of Olton; N. J. Smith of Lamesa and a daughter, Mrs. Nora Mae Riley of Houston: four brothers, Earl McIntyre of Denison, J. B. McIntyre of Bowie, Robert McIntyre of Dallas and Jessie McIntyre of Los Angeles: five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Leonard, Mrs. E. M. Hern, both of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Vera Rogers of San Angelo, Mrs. Virgil Bloskeskey of Raymondville and Mrs. Bessie Howell of Big Spring; also surviving are three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
