McIntyre, Bowie
BOWIE, TEXAS - John Barto McIntyre, 79, died Monday in a Wichita Falls hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kreig-Owens-Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson, pastor of Borger, Texas, Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery.
McIntyre was born April 29, 1906, in Rising Star, Texas, and had lived here many years. He was a retired building contractor.
Survivors include two daughters, Joy Bryson of Livingston, Texas, and Ruth Ivins of Cotton Center, Texas; one son, Robert of Fort Worth; four sisters, Vera Rogers and Beth Taylor, both of Wichita Falls, Virginia Blaskowski of Fort Worth and Velma Hackworth of Bowie; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
