Notes - Obituary:
Percy Joseph Talbot, 68, of Port Acres died Sunday at Mid-Jefferson Hospital after an illness.
A native of Vinton, La., he lived most of his life in Port Acres. He was a retired production supervisor from Synpol in Port Neches. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Port Acres Masonic Lodge No. 1303.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland, with Masonic burial rites following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur.
Survivors include his wife, Opal; two daughters, Rhoda Speed and Carolyn Driver, both of Port Neches; two brothers, Eddie of Port Acres and Dudley of Port Neches; and four grandchildren.
