McIntyre, Bowie
BOWIE, Tex. (Special) - Mrs. J.B. McIntyre, 68, died Wednesday afternoon in a Bowie hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Bowie with the Rev. Jimmie Johnson, Iowa Park Baptist minister, officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.H. Townley, pastor of East Side Baptist Church of Bowie. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery near Bowie.
Mrs. McIntyre was born July 14, 1907, in Del Rio, Tex., and had been a resident of Montague County 30 years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert William of Fort Worth; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Hill of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Ruth Ivins of Littlefield, Tex., and Mrs. Joy Bryan of San Antonio; a brother, Albert Heaton of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Leola Hale of Iowa Park, Mrs. Inez Johnson of Fort Worth and Mrs. Betty Case of Bowie; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
