    • Obituary:

      Rafael Flores Jr., 43, of Port Arthur died Friday.

      A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, he was an operator at Fina Oil Co. for 23 years and a member of Oil Chemical & Atomic Workers International Union AFL-CIO Local 4-23. He was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur.

      Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

      Survivors include his father, Rafael Flores Sr. of Port Arthur; two sons, Christopher Paul Flores and Rafael Flores III, both of Port Neches; three brothers, Otilio Collazo Jr. of Port Arthur, Robert Henry Flores I of Port Neches and Richard James Flores Sr. of Port Arthur; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Sumaya and Virginia Rose Howe, both of Groves.
