  Obituary: Suzette Allen Forestier January 1, 1959 - November 20, 2022 Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA, for Suzette Allen Forestier, 63, who died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her residence. Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Mausoleum in Mire, LA. The Very Rev. Monsignor Russell Harrington, Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Forestier and companion Scott Arnaud, two sons, Cory Forestier and spouse Christy Forestier, Hunter Forestier and spouse Kaitlyn Forestier, three brothers, Harry Allen and spouse Tamie Allen, Michael Allen and spouse Angie Allen, Todd Allen and spouse Cheryl Allen, seven grandchildren, Conner Hebert, Adelyn Smith, Evie Smith, Ava Arnaud, Greta Forestier, Nathan Forestier, and Lucas Forestier. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee Allen, mother, Kathleen Devillier Cook, and brother, Jay Cook. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 6:30 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm and on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
