    • Obituary:

      Nora Lee Sanders, 87, of Conroe, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at Strake House in Conroe, Texas. A graveside service will be 1:30pm, Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Tom Philen of St. Francis of Assisi in Orange. Visitation will be from 11am to 12:30pm, Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

      Born in Orange, Texas, on November 12, 1925, Nora was the daughter of Simon A. Bourgeois and Mary Virginia Miller Bourgeois. She graduated from Orange High School in 1944; where she was a member of the Bengal Guard. Nora was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest T. Sanders, brothers, Herman Bourgeois and S.A. Booty Bourgeois, Jr.; and sister, Vivian Carr.

      Nora is survived by her son, Steve Sanders and his wife, Leslie of Houston, Texas; daughter, Vicki Schell and husband, Doug of Hideaway, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Schell, Katy Schell, and Olivia Sanders; and great-grandchild, Blake Schell; sister-in-law, JoAnn Bourgeois; and sister, Jeanette Calhoun and husband, Charles.
