  Obituary: Patsy Fletcher Beck March 17, 1936 - September 26, 2024 Patsy Fletcher Beck, 88, of Denton, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in Denton. Patsy was born on March 17, 1936, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Powell Washington & Ada Verlie (Houston) Fletcher. Patsy worked for Humble Oil & Refining, Co., Exxon Company USA, Exxon Chemical, Co., & ExxonMobil Chemical Co., for 36 years. She was united in marriage to Edwin Beck in July of 1957, & they celebrated 51 wonderful years of marriage. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Michael & Patrick. Patsy & Edwin worked together to rebuild their Houston home after it flooded. They lived in Houston for 46 years before relocating to Denton. Patsy was Edwin's angel through his surgeries, cancer & heart problems. She never left his side & was his source of constant support & unwavering love. Patsy was a member of the Encouragers Life Class at the First Baptist Church in Denton. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Patrick Beck & his wife, Tracy; her grandson, Lucas Mussina; her beloved dog, Dolly; extended family & a host of friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Beck; & her son, Michael Beck. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, with Pastor Bruce Larson officiating. (Published by Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton, TX)
