Notes - Obituary:
Schexnyder Infant Is Buried Here Friday
Baby Leroy Schexnyder, Jr., infant son of Lieut. and Mrs. Leroy Schexnyder of Rayne, was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery at 6 P. M., Friday afternoon, July 9, following funeral services held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. H. Lerschen officiating.
The funeral was under the direction of the Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.
The little son was born to Lieut. and Mrs. Schexnyder about 1 A. M. Friday morning but the little life thread which held this precious life to this earth was too frail, and the tiny little fellow joined the throngs of "wee baby faces." who are awaiting their loved ones on the "other side."
To Lieut. and Mrs. Schexnyder, and to the grandparents, who had keen awaiting the arrival of this, their first grandchild, with such keen anticipation, Tribune extends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Baby Leroy is survived by his father, his mother, the former Miss Marilyn McBride. his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. McBride and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schexnyder.
