  Obituary: Irene Sage July 10, 1914 - Jan. 28, 2005 NAVASOTA - Services for Irene Sage, 90, of Navasota are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. The Rev. J.W.L. Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sage died Friday in Navasota. She was born in Millican and was a member of First Baptist Church of Navasota. She was an operator for United Telephone Co. and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Sage; and a son, Robert Lynn Sage. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Roberta Sage of Brookshire; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Claude Jolly of Anderson; a brother and three sisters-in-law, George and Dolly Greer of Millican, Marcella Greer of Pinehurst and Dorothy Salvador of Chalmette, La.; a sister, Ann Mallard of Palestine; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
