  Obituary: Mrs. Janie Fuller, 51, of Dickinson, died at 7 a.m. Monday in her residence at 4407 43rd street, after a short illness. Born July 27, 1905, in Millican, Mrs. Fuller had been a resident of Dickinson the past 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lester, of Dickinson; a stepson, Lester K. Jr., of League City; two daughters, Mrs. James Abbott of Dickinson and Mrs. Ralph Keller of Torrance, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. C. Page of Alta Loma, Mrs. Richard Price of Alvin and Mrs. Jane Mayo of Baytown; three brothers, George Ward of Millican, Leonard Ward of Woodville and D. E. Ward of Bryan; three sisters, Mrs. D. R. Price of Alvin, and Mrs. H. E. Scheleg and Mrs. Matt Cranshaw, both of Bryan, and 16 grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the Jack H. Rowe funeral home, League City until Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Navasota, Tex., with the Rev. Marlin Miller, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Dickinson, officiating. Burial will be at the Peach Creek cemetery, near Navasota. (Published in The Galveston Daily News on October 24, 1961)
