    • Obituary:

      Funeral services were held in the Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Somerville at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20, for Mrs. Josephine Crow of Somerville. The Rev. T. V. Lewis, pastor of the Christian Church officiated. Mrs. Pat Westfall sang two solos, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer My God to Thee", accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Cecil Matejowsky. Mrs. Crow passed away early Thursday morning, April 17, in Hilhaven Rest Home at Waco, after being in ill health for several years.

      She was born in Gay Hill, Washington County, Teas on March 25, 1878, the daughter of the late Julius and Emilie Tonn Stolz. She had attained the age of 91 years and 23 days.

      Mrs. Crow was married for 61 years to the late E. M. Crow, who passed away on December 14, 1967. The Crow family had resided in Somerville for the past 65 years.

      Mrs. Crow is survived by one son, James J. Crow of Waco; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Simmers of White Castle, Louisiana; two sisters, Mrs. John Kruska of Granite, Oklahoma and Mrs. Fred Quebe of Agua Dulce; one brother, J. C. Stolz of Brenham; three grandsons; two granddaughters; eight granddaughters; three great grandsons; and many other relatives.

      Interment was beside her husband in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Woods Funeral Home. The following served as pallbearers, John Current of Bellville, John Toupal of Caldwell, Jimmie Stout, Walter Woods, Dwain Smith and Ed Wilkening.
