  Death Notice: Vera Carr, 74, of Willis died Thursday. Arrangements are pending with Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. (Published in the Bryan-College Station Eagle on May 22, 2004) Obituary: NAVASOTA - Services for Vera Fannett Carr, 74, of Willis are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. The Rev. O.L. Powell of Greater Christian Life will officiate. Burial will be in Wheat Cemetery in Millican. Mrs. Carr died Thursday in Conroe. She was born in Peach Creek and was a member of Greater Christian Life. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, William B. Carr Jr. of Willis; two sons, Walter Ryder and William Darrell Carr, both of Willis; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jimmy Fridel of Millican; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Mary Fannett and Ben and Fleeta Fannett, all of Jacksonville; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Marie Fazzino of Millican, Kay and Bill Easterling of Bryan, Billie Jo and Autrey Dixon of Navasota and Elaine and Clint Trncak of Tyler; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
