  Obituary: Lucille Brothers Powell, 66, of 4904 Lindale died Monday, April 13, 1987 in a Wichita Falls Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Village Church of Christ with the Rev. Les McGalliard, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. Arrangements were under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Mrs. Powell was born July 31, 1920, in Seymour, Texas. She was a retired RN and assistant supervisor for the Wichita Health Unit. She was a member of Faith Village Church. She had lived in Wichita Falls for 34 years. Survivors include her husband Clarence Whit; two sons, Davis of Wichita Falls and Randy Earl of Watertown, N.Y.; two daughters, Vickie Lynn Freeze of Estelline, Tex., and Theresa Lockhart of Memphis, Tex.; a brother, Robert Brothers of Seymour; a sister, Doris Holt of Ft. Worth; her mother, Ada Brothers of Wichita Falls and seven grandchildren. (Published in The Seymour Baylor County Banner on April 16, 1987)
