  Obituary: Deward Edward Thomas, 63, died Friday in a Wichita Falls Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Owens & Brumley Funeral Home, with the Rev. E. B. Compton, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park. He was born September 24, 1917 and was a resident of Wichita Falls for 60 years. He was a member of Pipeliner's Local No. 796. Survivors include his wife, Peggy, a son, Paul of Astoria, Ore., two daughters, Mrs. Doris T. York of Kirkland, Wash., and Mrs. Anita J. Thomas-Jernigan of Oklahoma City, his mother Jessie M. Thomas of Wichita Falls, two brothers, David R. of Texarkana, Texas and Joseph R. of Paducah, Texas, four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
