    • Obituary:

      Services for Lillian L. Brothers, 84, of 2201 Broad in Wichita Falls, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 18, 1989, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Reverend Lynwood Givens of Dallas and the Reverend Hugh McClure, pastor of Highland Church of god, officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Texas.

      She died Wednesday, August 16, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

      Brothers was born September 23, 1904, in Emory, Texas. She was a retired nurse and had lived in Wichita Falls since 1947. She was a member of Church of God in Electra.

      Survivors include her husband, Jessie; two daughters, Wanda McClure and Janice Givens, both of Electra; a son, Johnnie Ray Dougherty of Sanford, Maine; a sister, Gladys Pennington of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
