M.Sgt. Brothers Rites in Seymour
SEYMOUR (RNS) - Funeral for M.Sgt. Buford Weldon Brothers, 40, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Seymour Church of Christ, Leslie Mackey of Colorado City officiating. Military rites will be in Riverview Cemetery under direction of Elliston-Archer Funeral Home.
Sgt. Brothers died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Clark AFB Hospital in the Philippines of a brain hemorrhage.
Born March 27, 1929, in Seymour, he had been in the service about 19 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Glenna of the home; one son, Eugene, and one daughter, Deborah, both of the home; two brothers, J. W. of Wichita Falls and Orval of Seymour; two sisters, Delta Mae and Pauline Brothers, both of Seymour; his mother, Mrs. J. B. Brothers of Seymour.

B. W. Brothers Rites Monday
Services for M. Sgt. Buford Weldon Brothers, 40, a native of Seymour, who died unexpectedly Monday in an Air Force base hospital in the Philippines, was held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ here.
Leslie Mickey, Colorado City Church of Christ minister, officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery with military graveside rites. Arrangements were under the direction of Elliston-Archer Funeral Home.
Brothers was born March 27, 1929, in Seymour. He was a veteran of 19 years in the services.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Eugene, and a daughter, Deborah, both of the home; two brothers, J. W. of Wichita Falls and Orval of Seymour; two sisters, Delta Mae Brothers and Pauline Brothers, both of Seymour; and his mother, Mrs. J. B. Brothers of Seymour.
