  Obituary: April Cheree (Jones) Roby, 45, passed away Monday, October 08, 2018, in Alpine. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018, at the Double Mountain Cemetery in Peacock. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home, in Hamlin. Born April 9, 1973, in Rotan, April was the daughter of Mike and Cynthia (Nichols) Jones. When her sons were young, April studied at Western Texas University in Snyder to become an LVN. A few years later, she furthered her education to become a registered nurse. April moved to Alpine in 2013, where she continued working as an RN. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, E.B. (Sonny) and Billie Nichols, Tiney Jones, two uncles, Edward Clayton Nichols, and Ernest Dale Nichols. Survivors include two sons, Cody Roby and Jade Roby; her parents Mike and Cynthia Jones; one brother and sister-in-law, Bronc and Michelle Jones; one granddaughter, Payton Jayde Roby; one nephew, Cade Jones; one niece Camey Jones; grandmother, Doyleen Jones; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
