Joseph "Joe" Breaux, 47, of Lake Charles died on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in Lake Charles.

Mr. Breaux was born in Lafayette, raised in Jennings, and lived in Lake Charles for the past 13 years. He was a longtime truck driver, working for Nations Rent for six years and H&E Equipment for the past eight years. Mr. Breaux also worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a jack of all trades.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angela Cormier Breaux of Lake Charles; three daughters, Kristy Breaux Navarre of Crowley, Hollie Howard of Iowa and Kaylynn Breaux of Lake Charles; two sons, Cory and Brayden Breaux, both of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Tori and Taylor Navarre, all of Crowley, two sisters, Dora Breaux of Kinder and Jacqueline Francois of Lafayette; and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Breaux and his parents, Beatrice and Thelesmond Breaux.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Danny Torres will officiate. Burial will be in Doucet Cemetery. Visitation is noon-9 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary, and resumes at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
