    • Obituary:

      Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012, at Gaines County Cemetery, with Ronnie Kinney and Chris Purcell officiating. Services are being entrusted to Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Seagraves. Mr. Hollifield was born to Tommy and Janie Hollifield on February 25, 1947. in Brownfield. Bill enjoyed fishing and caring for his daughters and grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memories are: 2 daughters, Laini Jenkins and husband, Lance, and Becky Gates and husband, Steve, all of Stanton, TX; 1 brother, Gary Hollifield of Greenwood, TX; 3 Sisters, Linda Shumake of Midland TX, Cathy Yocom of Seagraves, TX, and Janice Fulford of Slaton, TX. He also left 5 grandchildren, Keslee Jenkins, James Barber, and Timothy & Tucker Smith, all of Stanton and Jaekob Blewett of Levelland. He is preceeded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Pauline Hollifield.
