Schelonka, Raymond "Ray Robbins" Of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on August 24, 2002. He was born April 3, 1935 in Cudahy, WI to Leo and Elizabeth (nee Forrai). Fond father of Theresa (Jeff) Rabinek of Parker, CO, Tom (Linda), Tim (Shelly) and Ted (Lynn), all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by special loving friend and companion for several years, Eileen Steger; his brother, Dr. Edward (Mary) of Belize, CA; two special granddaughters, Gina and Tara; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ray was in the restaurant business for many years. He was a lifetime saxophone player with several area polka bands and a former DJ on radio station WTKM, Hartford, WI before retiring to Arizona in 1996.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Ray's life will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM with a Vigil Service at 7 PM Monday, Sept. 9 at the Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National AVe., New Berlin, WI. Interment Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
