  Obituary: Curtis A. Vincent Curtis A. Vincent, 59, of Industry and formerly of Bryan died in a Veterans' hospital in Temple Sunday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillier Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery. Vincent was born in Bryan, attended Bryan High School and had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Bryan. He entered the Marine Corps in 1943, trained at Camp Pendleton in California, and served as a corporal with the 5th Marine Division. In World War II, Vincent served in Hawaii, Iwo Jima, Japan and in the American-Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with a Bronze Star, and the Presidential Unit Citation. Vincent was a technician at the Brenham State School. Survivors include his wife, Freda Maria Vincent of Industry; a daughter, Monica Lynn Vincent of Houston; his mother, Mrs. Lela Fuchs of Bryan; a brother, James E. Vincent of College Station; and a sister, Doris Sanders of Bryan. (Published in The Bryan-College Station Eagle on June 25, 1985)
