  Obituary: Josephine McCarver Werner of Hearne joined out Lord and Saviour on February 15, 2021 at the age of 83. "Joanne" had such deep gratitude for the rich full life she enjoyed. With the opportunity to love so many wonderful people, to experience some beautiful places and to have interesting adventures along the way. Joanne is preceded in death by her parents John and Lillian McCarver, brother John McCarver Jr, her sisters Claudette Freeman, Tennie Ruth Mahan, her beloved husband Jack Werner and her son James Paris Stephens. She is survived by one brother Robert McCarver, two deeply loved and appreciated children Gene Stephens Jr and Victoria Stephens and daughter in law Ana Nicasio, granddaughters Carlise Fergusen and Jospehine Raquel Garrison. She was loved by so many others in the community. Services for Joanne will be held Saturday February 27 at Five Points Baptist Church in Hearne. Viewing will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with the service immediately following at 11 a.m. (Published in The Robertson County News on February 25, 2021)
