      Mark Gordon Prather
      March 19, 1957 - June 3, 2015

      MARK GORDON PRATHER, age 58 of Amarillo died June 3, 2015.

      A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. Sherman Eastland, Chaplain will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

      Mark was born March 19, 1957 to Gordon Sandy and Mary Helen ClymerPrather at an airbase in Nurenberg, Germany. He attended OU and is a graduate of WT with a Bachelor of Applied Science. Mark had worked at Pantex as a radiation safety Scientist for the past thirty five years.

      Mark was an avid Harley rider and was a member of HOG. He was a collector of guns and a member of the gun club. Although he had many interest and hobbies, none compared to spending time with his sons. He cherished time with them and was proud to be their father.

      Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

      He is survived by his two sons, Alex and Shawn Lee Prather both of Amarillo; a sister Christina Clements of Oklahoma City; his step sister, Lisa McKnight and her husband Mark; his step brother Mike Prather; and his former wife, Dump Prather all of Amarillo.
