    • Death Notice:

      Funeral arrangements for Eddie D. Hebert, 84, will be announced by Hixson-Guardian Chapel. He died Sunday in a Sulphur nursing home.

    • Obituary:

      Funeral services for Eddie Davis Hebert Sr., 84, will be at 10:30 a.m. today, Sept. 5, from Christ the King Catholic Church on the Gulf Highway.

      Msgr. Irving DeBlanc will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of Hixson-Guardian Chapel.

      Mr. Hebert died Sunday in a local nursing home.

      A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, he was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Carpenters Local No. 953.

      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bertha LeBleu Hebert; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Gloria) Bouillon; one son, Eddie D. Hebert Jr.; one sister, Mrs. August (Iva) Constance, all of Lake Charles; two brothers, Martin Hebert of Grand Lake and O.C. Hebert of Port Arthur, Texas, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
