  Obituary: Mark F. "Chuck" Barkley, 63, a native of Monroe and a resident of Bayou Lourse, passed away on March 19, 2019. Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2019, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park, at 8:00 pm. He is survived by his wife - Ellen Martin Barkley; son - Chancey Barkley and wife Melanie; step-sons -Tommy Walton, Jr., Carl Martin, Zackary Martin; step-daughters - Telisha Gifford, Mindy Bales; sisters - Jan Overbey and husband Darrell " Bo", Penny Valliant and Lewis; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren; mother-in-law - Gail Dukes; numerous nieces and nephews.
