    • Obituary:

      SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for V. Glasgow "Hawk" Hawkins, 53, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 1990 at Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Park West.

      Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      Mr. Hawkins passed away Tuesday, October 23, 1990 at LSU Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born November 16, 1936 in Tuscumbia, Ala. He was owner of Hawks Smokehouse Restaurant and a member of the Pentecostal church.

      He is survived by two daughters, Nikki Lynn Hawkins and Sandra Kay Hawkins both of Shreveport; mother, Ona Mae Hawkins of Shreveport; two brothers, C. Ray Hawkins and William F. Hawkins both of Shreveport; three sisters, Mary Greer of Shreveport; Mildred Tubbs of Benton and Nora Fancher of Keithville; one grandson, Brian Gordon of Jackson, Miss.; a special friend and companion, Shirley Herston.

      Pallbearers will be Buck Arnold, John Henson, Gale Smith, Bobby Dale Preson, Avard Sibley, John Crump, Joe Fancher and Kenneth Johnson.
