Notes - Obituary:
Services for Henry Marshall, 89, 707 D, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Becker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Baggett, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Madill Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall was dead on arrival at a local hospital Wednesday night after being struck by an ambulance at the intersection of 10th and B.
He was born Dec. 19, 1875, in Illinois, and came with his parents to Indian Territory in 1882. Marshall County was named for his father, John Marshall.
He moved to the Faxon area about 45 years ago and farmed there until 20 years ago when he retired and moved to Lawton.
He married Donna Crow in 1911 at Madill. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fay Arnett, Hinsdale, Ill.; a brother, John Marshall, Lindsay; a sister, Mrs. Lennie Dela Shaw, Houston, Tex.; a nephew, W. P. Marshall, 1702 Oak; and a granddaughter and two grandsons.
