- Obituary:
Dan "Danny" Gene Crow
March 27, 1954 - November 12, 2025
Danny Gene Crow passed away peacefully at home on November 12th, 2025. Danny was born on March 27th, 1954, in Pasco, Washington. In 1960 the family moved to Kennewick, Washington. He grew up in Kennewick and in 1972 he was part of the first graduating class from Kamiakin High School, the Home of The Braves. Danny played football from Grid kids all the way through high school. Like his dad, he was a highly skilled heavy equipment operator working for several Tri-Cities companies over the course of his career.
He had many, many hobbies and so much knowledge. His first love was playing the guitar, and he loved to write songs. He loved horses and horse racing, fishing, antiquing, cooking and baking (he made the best pies ever), harvesting his garden and making marbles, and beadwork. Most important to his heart was spending time with his grandkids, family and friends when he could. He had recently reconnected with a few of his school friends too.
Danny will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his parents Don and Carol Crow, and his sister Kathleen Williams (Crow). He is survived by two sisters Becky Holland (Crow) and husband Kerry, Marcy Crow and wife Roberta, and brother-in-law Alan Williams. He is also survived by his partner in crime Marla Reynolds and her granddaughter Ava. He has 3 children, Candon Crow and partner Ashlee, Cody Crow and wife Shawnee, and Kailei Leonard (Crow) and husband Adam. Danny has 5 grandsons Tyler, Thomas, Tyrann, Aven, and Noah, niece Nicole Derryberry and husband Jeff with Justi, Camryn and Kyler, niece Maggie Burnett and husband Trevor with Kinsley. There are also numerous other relatives and friends both here and in Heaven that love him. We want to recognize all our extended family and friends for the love and support they have given us through this difficult time.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick.
