  Obituary: Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Beard, age 82, of Dacula, GA passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Henry Houston Beard, Dacula, GA; children, Teresa Ridarick, Covington, GA; Janis and Don Bennett, Walnut Cove, NC, Shawn and Sandee Beard, Sharpsburg, GA and Ricky Beard, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Heather Lester, Bryan Ridarick, Terri Neas, Katie Beard, Bryn Beard, Brandi Jones, John Holbrooks, Kyle Holbrooks, Alyx Kirk, and Skylar Kirk; great grandchildren, Helena Eleftheratos, Caryn Neas, Adriahnna Prado and Ava Marlow; sister, Lula Mae Coil, Rogers, AR; and sister in law, Mary Landrum, Piggott AR. Mrs. Beard was born January 24, 1931 in Piggott, AR and was a 1949 graduate of Piggott High School. She attended Harding College in Searcy, AR and was retired from AT&T as a directory clerk. She was an avid bowler, a member of the Red Hat Society, and she participated in Senior Olympics. She was a member of Buford Church of Christ. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Mr. Scott Harp officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Decatur, GA.
