- Obituary:
Dwight Durward Crow, 72, of Seaside, died on May 24, 2017 in Seaside.
He was born on April 11, 1945 in Spokane, WA the son of Earl & Donna Lovelace Crow. He was raised in Hermiston and received his education there. As a kitchen help employee during his working years he was employed at the State Hospital in Pendleton, Fairview, and also worked for the Forest Service at Sand Lake. He also worked at a furniture factory in Pilot Rock and the Army Depot in Hermiston. He retired from the Fairview State Hospital.
Mr. Crow came to the Seaside area from Waldport, OR in 2009.
Over the years he enjoyed jewelry making, fishing, crabbing, beach walking, and bodybuilding. He was also an accomplished bull rider, stock car racing, motorcycle racing, arm wrestling, and boxing.
Mr. Crow is survived by his longtime partner Leona Sisson of Seaside, OR; his daughter Kalinn Prouty of Hermiston, OR; his brother Mike Crow of Seaside, OR; sisters Earlene Jacobs of Hermiston, OR and Sherry Graham of Anchorage, AK. Also surviving is his step daughter Dottie Tunget of Seaside, OR; son-in-law Bart Prouty Jr of Hermiston; and his step son Marshall Sisson of Umatilla, OR. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial Services will be held at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 88786 Dellmoor Loop Road, Warrenton, Oregon on Saturday, June 12th at 3:00PM.
