    • Obituary:

      Orrick K. Anderson, 33, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Astoria, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at home.

      He was born Jan. 21, 1976, in Longview, Wash., to Ralph and Helen Anderson. His mother survives, residing in Astoria. His father preceded him in death.

      Mr. Anderson graduated from Astoria High School. He lived in the Clatsop County area until 1996.

      He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

      Family members said he loved gold mining, fishing and hunting.

      In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, his twin, Daisy Anderson of Seaside and Bess Anderson and her husband, Josh Bunnell, of Astoria; a brother, Dale Anderson of Springfield; and three children, Darren, Brian and Jasmine Anderson, of Alabama.

      A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. March 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Astoria.

      Kehls Funeral Home in Anchorage is in charge of the arrangements.
