    • Obituary:

      Brandon Shane Walker, 42, of Monticello, passed away on January 29, 2015 at his home.

      Mr. Walker was born August 9, 1972 in Monticello. He was disabled, a Christian and was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Piper Walker and his grandparents, Dean and Marie Piper and Jake and Dorris Walker.

      Survivors include his father, Ronnie Walker and step-mother Jorene of Hamburg; one sister, Amanda Scogin of Monticello; one brother, Ronnie Walker, Jr. of Judsonia; three nieces; two nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

      A memorial service will be held on February 4 at 11 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello.
