  Obituary: BURLESON - James Edwin Holt, 74, a retired building engineer, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at a local hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. James Edwin Holt was born June 2, 1923, in Blum. He was a member of Burleson Church of Christ and Lake Pat Sams Chapter of Good Sams Club. He was medically discharged from the Army during World War II. He retired in 1985. Mr. Holt enjoyed camping, fishing and horseback riding. Survivors: Wife, Doris Holt; daughters, Janice Bonham and her husband, Bobby, and Judy Moore and her husband, Timothy; brother, George Holt; sisters, Etta Ross, Maggie Warren, Helen Hackler, Ellen Jean, Betty Bayse and Elsie Hill; grandchildren, Chris Delmere and his wife, Misty, Lori Jones and her husband, Jimmy, Nicole Johnson and her husband, Chad, Monty Bonham and his wife, Leigh, Shawna Loven, Jonathan Moore and Kimberly Moore; great-grandchildren, Matthew Delmere, Ethan Jones, Tristan Johnson, Tara, Kayla, Crista and Zack Bonham, and Jordan and Ashlee Loven; and many nieces and nephews.
