      Winfred Gene Burress, son of the late Albert Nathan Burress and Myrtle Lee Burress was born March 5, 1941 and departed this life on February 23, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Winfred married Brenda Gattis January 18, 1980.

      Survivors include:

      His wife: Brenda Burress of White Oak, Missouri

      Two sons: Winfred Wayne (Tonya) Burress of Piedmont, Missouri

      Thomas Gene Burress of Holcomb, Missouri

      One daughter: Dedra (Brian) Settlemoir of Paragould, Arkansas

      Two step Sons: Rodger (Lisa) Beck of Piggott, Arkansas

      Craig (Janet) Beck of Nimmons, Arkansas

      Seventeen Grandchildren and ten great grandchildren

      One brother: Glen Burress of Hornersville, Missouri

      Other relatives and many friends.

      Winfred was preceded in death by one brother: Alfred Burress and one sister: Nellie Lacey and step-son: Jeff Beck.

      Winfred was of White Oak, Missouri and passed away at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas

      Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend's Scott Crane and John Keel officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jacob Burress, Glenn Burress, Aaron Buck, Rocky Beck, John Beck and Corbin Chase.

      McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
