  Obituary: HENDERSON - Services for Mrs. B.C. Phenix Sr., 90, 600-4 Pinedale, Henderson, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Henderson with Dr. Hugh L. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park under direction of Crawford-A Crim Funeral Home in Henderson. Mrs. Phenix died Friday at a Henderson nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1890, in Keatchie, La., and after moving from Port Arthur, she was a nine-year resident of Henderson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson. Survivors include two sons, Bruce C. Phenix Jr. of Beaumont and James N. Phenix of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L.O. Allen, Charles Hutto, Ken Phenix, Bob Phenix, Jim Phenix, Rusty Phenix, Rodney Phenix and Terry Mayo. (Published in The Tyler Morning Telegraph on August 15, 1981)
