  Obituary: Daisy Higgs May 28, 1940 - June 20, 2016 Daisy Higgs of Corsicana passed away at Navarro Regional Hospital on Monday morning, June 20, 2016 at the age of 76. She was born May 28, 1940 in Ennis, Texas to Jessie and Lily Claxton. She enjoyed playing cards, domino's and computer games and she enjoyed painting in her kitchen such as chairs, cabinets or walls. She also enjoyed flower gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Lilie Estelle Ewing Claxton; brothers, George Willis, Jessie Jr., Danny Lee Claxton and grandson Benny Ray Huffman. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Higgs of Corsicana; eight children, Barbara Jean Wafer, Forrest Huffman, Brenda Campbell, Benny Huffman, Johnny Ray Huffman, Chuck Peterson all of Corsicana and Elda Brimer of Florida and Linda Dool of Arlington. Also survived by three brothers, Charles Claxton of Ennis, Gene Claxton of Rice, David Claxton of Rice; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 5:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev.
