MINERAL WELLS - Lola Mae "Myrt" Whittenburg, 75, who retired in 1984 as a shipping clerk for Perry Equipment Co. in Mineral Wells, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at a Mineral Wells hospital.
Funeral: was 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial: Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
Lola Mae "Myrt" Whittenburg was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Bryan. She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Church, the Rebekah Lodge, and past member of the Board of Directors of the Perry Equipment Co. Federal Credit Union.
Survivors: Husband, Dayman Whittenburg Sr.; sons, Jerry Whittenburg, Joe and wife, Vonda Whittenburg, D.C. and wife, Pearl Whittenburg, Roy and wife, Mitzi Whittenburg; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
