    • Obituary:

      Randall Gene Young, age 66, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away from this life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Randall was born November 1, 1951 in DeQueen, Arkansas, the son of Lee Young and Bettye Jean Chaney. Randall was employed as a toolpusher in the Texas oil fields, owned a restaurant, and was a lead school bus driver for Cypress Fairbanks Independent Schools District. Randall lived in many places in Texas, including Laredo, Gonzales, Somerville, Austin, Houston, and Midland, as well as in New Orleans, LA and Edmond, OK through his career, but he retired to his favorite place in 2015, as he always called it: "God's Country", Broken Bow. Randall enjoyed his FOOTBALL, fishing, and family, including pets.

      Randall is preceded in death by his parents: father, Lee Young, mother, Bettye Jean Chaney, and step-father, Ferrell Chaney; his brother-in-law, Mark Thomas; his uncles, M.W. Tucker and wife Reba, James Tucker and wife Vondal, and their son Mike Tucker; and aunts Dorothy Tucker and her son, Carl Self, Jr., Margaret Tucker, and Nettielee Haley and husband Glen Haley, and their son, Glenny Haley.

      His memory will be forever cherished by his family: his daughter, Caroline Nettielee-Young McEaneney and husband Ryan, their children and his grandchildren Carolee Hallow and Killian James; his son, Conrad Young; his sister, Dottie Thomas, her sons and his nephews, Mark Randall, Brandon, Chris, and Nick; his step-mother Laura Young, and his brothers, John Young and wife Tracy, Jason Young and wife Elise, and James Young and wife Tammy; his cousins, Tal Tucker, Carolyn Bialick, Kathy Guthrie, and Margaret Chisholm; his pets Genghis, Betty, and Tipsy; his ex-wife Susan Wygant; and his many friends and his extended family.

      A visitation of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in the chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

      A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in the chapel in Broken Bow with the Church of Christ minister Nathan Diller officiating. Interment will follow at the Hochatown Cemetery.
